I went expecting the worst. I imagined that it would have good graphics and good fight scenes. But I expected a bad plot. I was pleasantly surprised and I think it is due to the fact that the trailer got me thinking that I was going to see one movie and the movie I actually saw was completely different. I hate it when they give away the entire movie in the trailer. I expected them to go the mythology route and they didn’t. The only things that I could gripe about were the mid-drift cut of Atlanta’s costume (so not battle smart for a warrior), that they had to throw the “F” word in there randomly just for kicks, and the fact that the places within the movie seemed very small scale. The acting was surprisingly good in comparison to what I expected and there was fabulous comic relief. Overall it was a good flick.
